Moyer Production Reds are the Bird of Choice
in our Organic Egg Producer Flock of 300 Hens
It was a long trail for us to get to the point
where we could make a profit from our labors on the farm.
Thru the years, we have learned it is about having the right
tools and equipment to get the job done. With livestock, the
equipment makes the difference between profit and loss. The
more labor you can eliminate the profit you enjoy. You must
also take in to consideration the treatment of your livestock
and your safety and the safety of your family and employees.
We these experiences in mind we have tried to stock the highest
quality tools and equipment to get the job done in the most
efficient manner.
The livestock equipment we offer to you is the same equipment
we use on our farm. In some cases we manufacture the equipment
ourselves as we did not find what we needed elsewhere.
In the spring we will offer a full line of fencing and animal
housing equipment.

POULTRY
New England Farms currently cares for 300 organically
raised chickens and several hundred organic quail. Our poultry is
Certified Naturally Grown. Our chicken and quail eggs are shipped
to health food store and gourmet food establishments as far as New
York City.
Again, from experience we have a good idea of what is needed for
a healthy poultry operation. We stock feeders and various poultry
equipment.
As soon as the first sprout pops it head of the ground our girls
are turned loose in chicken tractors. We have about 10 chicken tractors
of all sizes and shapes. From trying a variety we have come up with
a few designs that are very efficient, easy to use ad and easy to
clean while providing a good environment and security for the birds.
We intend to become a regional poultry center with a specialty section
for poultry producers.

Equipment.

SHAVINGS and BEDDING
It took a while to locate a good clean line of wood shavings to
suit our needs. We have located a great producer of fine shavings.
We are pleased with the product and now distribute over 300 bales
a month.
